Mount Rinjani Trekking is a cruising course / climbing toward the summit of Mount Rinjani which is the second highest volcano in Indonesia with an altitude of 3,726 m above sea level located in Lombok island. Senaru village or Sembalun Lawang village are two nearest entry point at an altitude of 600m asl and 1.150m above sea level.

Sembalun Lawang Ascent Route

Sembalun Lawang located in the east of the mountain. Most climbers begin climbing through Sembalun ascent routes and end in Senaru village, because it would save 700m altitude. Sembalun rather long but flat, and the weather is hotter because through the scorching savanna (cold temperatures but direct sun radiation burning the skin).
