BlueWater Express is the name of fast boat that offers the quickest and easiest way to get Gili islands and Lombok from the main south Bali tourist areas. All trips includes hotel transfers in south Bali area, insurance, buffet morning coffee/tea prior departure and mineral water served on board. The departure point from private facility in Serangan ensures a comfortable waiting area upon arrival and departure, with toilets, showers and full restaurant facilities.

BlueWater Express I

Launched in December 2007, the 25-seat BlueWater Express I has proved it to be a powerful, reliable work-horse. She will continue to operate alongside BlueWater Express III in serving Bali – Gili Islands and Lombok throughout 2011 and beyond. Bluewater Express I offer the transfer from Bali to Lombok and Gili Trawangan via Serangan harbor.

BlueWater Express III

The pride of our fleet is the impressive BlueWater Express III, launched in March 2009. This vessel runs all routes from Bali to Gili Islands and Lombok, and has been designed specifically to handle the waters between Bali and Lombok. Bluewater Express III services between Bali, Lombok and Gili Trawangan via Padangbai harbor.

Safety equipment and Facilities

  • 4 x 10 man life rafts, with hydrostatic release and manual release; these automatically inflate if the boat sinks, or can be operated manually.

  • EPIRB: Electronic Position Indicating Radio Beacon. When immersed in water the EPIRB automatically sends an SOS signal via satellite to the authorities, informing name of vessel and precise location. Continues to send signal for up to three days.

  • SOLAS standard life jackets for all passengers and crew.

  • Full set of distress flares in accordance with regulations.
