Day 1

Hall of Justice (Kerta Gosa) 

On the first day, we will visit Hall of Justice (Kerta Gosa). It is located in the center of Klungkung town in front of the Klungkung Puputan Memorial. It was built in 1710 by Dewa Agung the King of Klungkung. The ceiling of the hall in the inside is completely covered with fine painting Kamasan Style. The story of painting is The Epic of Balinese Life’s Journey. In the middle, there is Bale Kambang (Floating Hall). The ceiling is full with Kamasan Painting. In the west of the hall, there is Museum Semarajaya which has photos’ collections of the King and family in Balinese dress.

Day 2

Bukit Jambul 

On the second day, we will visit the Bukit Jambul. The Bukit Jambul is the hill which is located in north of Klungkung. It will take about 30 minutes to drive there. After that we will visit Court Justice which it is a part of Karangasem Regency. The view of the coast is very beautiful. We can see black sand beach and small island of Nusa Penida and it is surrounded by clove plantation and the rice terraces.

Day 3

Besakih Mother Temple 

On the third day, we will stop at Besakih Mother Temple which is located in slope of Mount Agung about 1000 meters above sea level. This is the first temple which was built in Bali or as known as Mother Temple. It was built by the javanese priest Sri Danghyang Dwijendra who traveled to Bali in 8th century. Besakih Temple has big complex of temple included the family temple which was added by another Javanese priest Danghyang Nirartha in 16th century. The main temple courtyard is Penataran Agung. It has a triple throne called Padmasana Tiga with separated seats of the trinity gods Brahma, Wisnu and Siwa.

Day 4

Bats cave (Goa Lawah temple)  

On the fourth day, we will stop at Bats Cave Temple (Goa Lawah Temple). The temple is located in Pesingahan Village, Klungkung regency. The temple was built in 11th century by priest Mpu Kuturan or Mpu Rajakerta. He created 4 concepts of temple in Bali. This is an important temple which is located near the ocean, specially use for Nyegara Gunung ceremony (Nyegara mean Ocean and Gunung mean Mountain). The Balinese people use Goa Lawah Temple for the ocean temple and Besakih Temple for the mountain temple. The cave in the cliff is dominated by thousand bats.

Day 5

Tengenan Village 

On the fifth day, we will stop at Tengenan Village. The village is occupied by Bali Aga people, the original Balinese, who arrived in Bali before Majapahit arrival. Pandan war (Ngusaba Sambah Festival) will be held around May or June and Double ikat or Gringsing cloth is well known from this village.

Day 6

Candi Dasa 

On the sixth day, we will stop at Candi Dasa Beach which is a tourist resort built in east Bali with some hotels and restaurants. The beach is quiet and small. There are boats lied along the coast. Gili Tepekong Island is a good place to do snorkelling. We should rend a boat to go to this island. It offers the chance to see a lot of coral fish. In the east part, there is Candidasa Lagoon and Candidasa Temple. The temple is located on hillside across the lagoon.
